Standish appoints new client portfolio manager

Standish Mellon Asset Management Company has appointed Scott Zaleski to the newly created position of client portfolio manager.

Zaleski will focus on Standish’s opportunistic fixed income strategies and will represent Standish and its products, product development and business development for global multi-sector investment strategies.

He will report to Standish COO Michael Faloon and David Leduc, chief investment officer of the firm.

Zaleski previously served as senior portfolio manager of commercial and real estate development company The Flatley Company. Prior to that, he also held a portfolio manager position at Wellington Management Company LLP.

Faloon commented on the appointment: " Zaleski brings a strong track record of managing fixed income strategies, as well as the ability to explain and position complex investment products."
